Closing the visibility gap in a crowded snowboard market
From March to May 2026, Snowboardshop.pl grew its TOP10, TOP20 and TOP50 keyword footprint—and improved its relative position against most of 38 tracked competitors.

The client
snowboardshop.pl is a specialist snowboard retailer competing with dedicated stores, sporting-goods retailers, equipment brands and large marketplaces.
The same product, guide and brand queries are contested by both focused specialists and much larger domains.
The goal
Increase organic visibility while reducing the distance to domains with a larger TOP10, TOP20 and TOP50 footprint.
In practice: move closer to the leaders, catch the nearest competitors and extend the advantage over smaller stores.

The competitive starting point
Stable visibility was not enough in a market crowded with stores, brands and marketplaces
The important question was not simply whether Snowboardshop.pl was growing, but whether it was growing faster than the domains competing for the same searches.
- Product, buying-guide and brand queries attract strong specialist competitors.
- Large sporting-goods stores and marketplaces bring a much broader search footprint.
- March provided the first reference point because cooperation began at the end of the month.
- April and May sit outside the main snowboard season, when demand offers less support.
- The analysis covered visibility data across 38 active competitor domains.

How success was measured
Measure the distance to the market—not only the domain’s own growth
The recurring analysis asked whether each competitor was pulling away, being caught, or losing ground to Snowboardshop.pl.
- track the number of keywords in TOP10, TOP20 and TOP50,
- compare monthly visibility from March to May,
- calculate the average gap to the active competitor group,
- count how many competitor relationships improved,
- review individual domains to separate real market movement from an isolated increase.
Competitive visibility methodology
- Data: Semstorm public visibility history
- Comparison: March 2026 → May 2026
- Group: Snowboardshop.pl plus 38 active competitor domains

A stronger market position before the winter season
~13th of 39 in TOP10
~14th in TOP20
~17th in TOP50
Growth appeared in April and May—outside the main snowboard season, when demand typically provides less support. The next task is to convert the wider TOP50 footprint into TOP20 and TOP10 visibility before winter.
What comes next
Turn wider visibility into first-page positions before demand returns
The May snapshot shows a stronger footprint and a shrinking market gap. The next phase is about moving existing opportunities upward with clear seasonal priorities.
1. Move TOP20 keywords into TOP10
Prioritise queries already close to the first page because they have the shortest path to meaningful organic traffic.
2. Move TOP50 keywords into TOP20
Expand content and internal linking around terms with seasonal potential and an established visibility signal.
3. Close the nearest competitive gaps
Track and target the distance to funwind.com.pl, sklepzdeskami.pl, boardhouse.pl and proboarder.pl.
4. Prepare the season before demand peaks
Strengthen categories, buying guides, brands, sizes and equipment queries before winter rather than waiting for the season.
The competitive report remains a recurring benchmark: progress is measured not only against the previous month, but against how the market moves at the same time.
